I'm curious if an attempted gift counts? I have a friend who is having a baby and asked for hand-me-down cloth diapers. I acquired some through a "Free/Swap" group I'm in and when I went to gift them to her, she stated that she had just received a huge bag from someone else. I have yet to re-gift the ones I've acquired but does this mean I should start over since, technically, I didn't give them to her? ~Kelly

As far as I know, attempted gifts don't count. It's great you went to the trouble of helping her. You might be able to call a pregnancy crisis center and give them the items.
