Day 1: drove a co-worker into work (I had an apoointment prior to work but she needed a ride so I dropped her off then went to my appointment); texted a family member who lives on the other side of the country to tell her we missed her; bought a snack for a visitor to our school; and, dropped off paper towels to the loal animal shelter (I even took a tour and signed up to be a volunteer!)
