I'm over a week into my 5 or 6th giving cycle and started my first one 9 years ago after reading the book. The week has been full of ups and downs but mostly ups. I'm working out and eating healthier (those are daily gifts to myself) and have been giving small gifts to friends, family and strangers each day. Something as simple as a compliment or a smile or making coffee for my husband... My biggest gift so far was bringing breakfast for my coworkers and $20 to my son for doing the dishes (which he normally does and doesn't get money for) I look forward to the next 3 week and seeing what gifts I can give and what changes will happen in my life. I am doing this, as you mentioned, with no expectations, but with an open mind and open heart.
Day #2 spreading the love and gift giving within the house. Made a delicious breakfast for my husband and I as a gift to him. We usually go to Starbucks on Saturdays and spend $20 and have way too many calories so this gift to him is also a gift to myself and my goal to lose some weight. I plan on doing some spontaneous giving later today but it feels nice to start the day already giving a gift.

Day #1 of my 5th challenge in 9 years. I've been through alot in the past 6 months. Many changes in my life and I felt like I needed to shift the focus and the energy back to positive. I've been feeling like I needed to start this challenge again and when I woke up and checked my Instagram page I saw that Cami Walker had comment on a post I made 44weeks earlier about her book. I took that as my sign to start today! I left the house early and stopped and bought a healthy breakfast to my coworkers. My immediate gift was that everything I bought was buy one get one free. It was a win win. I am thinking of a few people to buy the book for and thinking of my next 28 gifts I'll give.
