My gift for today - day 1 - was to call a friend who needs help moving light outdoor furniture used by her employer from their house to the storage location in the horse barn. I checked the weather (snow today, but a bit warmer the next two days) and gave her a call, and told her I would wait to hear from her about what time this weekend would work). The gift is less in the doing and more in the being peaceful about the ambiguity of the timing.
