29 Gifts - Welcome

Why 29 Gifts?

Give one thing away each day for 29 days. Share your stories about how it impacts your life to focus on giving. Join the 29-Day Giving Challenge community today.

Why? Because to see the world change, we have to do something to change the world.  Plus, the best way to attract abundance into your life is to be in a perpetual state of giving and gratitude.  Be an important part of the global giving movement that inspires more generosity on our planet.

One month after her wedding day, thirty-three-year-old Cami Walker was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and the life she knew changed forever. Cami was soon in and out of L.A.’s emergency rooms with alarming frequency as she battled the neurological condition that left her barely able to walk and put enormous stress on her marriage. Each day brought new negative thoughts:

"I’m going to end up in a wheelchair... My life is over.

Why did this have to happen to me?"

Then, as a remedy for her condition, Cami received an uncommon prescription from a friend, an African medicine woman named Mbali Creazzo.  The prescription was to give away 29 gifts in 29 days.

“By giving,” Mbali told her, “you are focusing on what you have to offer others, inviting more abundance into your life.”

The gifts, she said, could be anything, but their giving had to be both authentic and mindful. At least one gift needed to be something she felt was scarce in her life.

Cami was amazed by what unfolded during her month-long journey... you will be too.  Join us in the journey to change your world and in turn change the entire world.

Give one thing away, each day, for 29 days. Why?
Because to see your world change, you have to DO something to change your world.
Change the world by changing your own.

Treat others how you’d like to be treated?
If you want a friend, be a friend?
Share your toys?
Isn’t it time we grew up and started acting like adults?

Greetings #29Gifts Community,

Valentine's day I spent 14 hours in the emergency room before I was admitted for an acute Multiple Sclerosis flare. Also struggling with #depression, #PTSD and #anxiety. Sunday I had a 3 hour MRI under general anesthesia. The results show two new enhancing lesions in my brain, one in my left frontal lobe and one in the right parietal lobe.

This flare started about three weeks ago. I am having cognitive problems. Can't focus or concentrate. My speech is slurring and I am having trouble finding and spelling words. My ears are ringing. In a lot of pain and dealing with severe spasticity. Vision is blurry and having vertigo. I am having problems walking and have been falling. It takes me an hour to write one paragraph. In short, I'm a hot mess.

I started IV steroids yesterday and have one more infusion tomorrow. The steroids make me anxious and agitated, but a few hours after the first dose, I was able to walk a little bit with assistance. I am working with physical and occupational therapy in the hospital. The doctors are also giving me Marinol (marijuana pills) for pain instead of opiates. I am using my CBD cream, gummies and vape pen. So glad I live in Colorado where cannabis is legal.

I give 29 Gifts Gift Tags to all of my nurses and doctors. You can download Gift Tags to print and give away. Just go to and click on Documents.
