Hi, I'm a single mother from the Bronx. I work in the South Bronx and see homeless every day. Before I read the book there was one guy in rough shape. I was in Starbucks and he was outside. I purchased my breakfast and stopped in front of him and gave it too him. There was no way I could pass him by and be at peace with myself. I said to him to please have some breakfast. He said nothing and took it. And that was okay by me. I had nothing for myself except a great feeling of having helped someone.
