So we are day 4. I have hear from students that they are busy working. One student bought a rose for her mom who has been ill. Another student said her dad always starts her car to warm it up before school. Friday, she got up early to start her dad's car. One of my classes is running a food drive. The paper chain went from signing a strip of paper if you gave a gift to students wanting to write the names of someone who gave them gift. So now we are giving double! So far so good.

Kelli, I love sharing my giving journey with my students as well. It is terrific when we can see the charity and positive energy that abounds when we inspire others with our sharing. Way to give!

Hi, I am a social worker that works with juniors and seniors in high school. It's been a rough fall. Students have had to suffer through some pretty horrible situations and our building is completely under construction. Our school is a pretty positive place, but this year I think gift giving will only help them.

So, we are doing 20 days of gift giving as a school. We're only here for 20 days this month. I just went and explained the plan and showed the 3 minute interview with Cami. Already, classes are thinking of group gifts. One class has organized a food drive for a local pantry and received permission from administration. Their ideas have been fun to listen to. I will post some great moments everyday.

I can't wait to see the school climate change.

Kelli, this is so exciting. My students were some of the first people I shared my 29 Gifts journey with as well. I was (and continue to be) so moved by the cool ways they find to give and their willingness to share the impacts giving makes on their lives.
