Well, I've been a producer out on the west coast of the US for the last 15 years. I suppose I'd be considered a genuinely nice person but when a friend of mine suggested the book, I thought I'd give it a shot. I plowed through it and thought of another very kind an amazing friend and thought she'd benefit from the book as well.

I guess I started the challenge 2 days ago. I read the book and immediately decided another friend of mine would love it so I drove it over to her house. She's already so giving and certainly doesn't need the challenge but I thought it would benefit her the most of the people I know. This morning I went out and got breakfast and coffee for my girlfriend. I'm not really sure that counts because I would have done it anyway. I think that's how I'll define it; it really only counts if it's something I wouldn't normally do.

Hi Ned, welcome...Sometimes I do something I would ordinarily do, but now I have conscious awareness of giving the gift of stuff or time or listening or a silent blessing. The awareness helps focus the intention for me, and that makes a difference in how the giving feels. Keep sharing!
