It adds the very important factor of COMMITMENT to what I can easily just take for granted: a kind word here and there, a bit of my time, a little gift. Some days I will, and some not. But this is different. It's conscious, and it is with a sense of community. I feel like this is an invitation to "walk the talk."

I discovered Cami's book while assisting my daughter in San Francisco with her recovery from a hit and run accident. The idea of a daily practice of giving within the context of a global community immediately appealed to me. I realized this would be a powerful way to personally contribute to what we all seem to desire: positive change. And get me past my own "borders." I'm on day 12!
