I'm excited to be here. One of the books I read mentioned 29 Gifts. I love giving and doing..but the bonus was the MS discussions. My daughter was diagnosed her Jr year in High School. She's not a talker so getting her to discuss her symptoms is like pulling teeth. Through the book I now feel like I have a better understand of what is going on with her. When the student is ready the teacher appears and knowledge is put in our path just when we need it.

I am a quilter and my best friends sister just had a brain tumor removed. The community she lives in is holding a fund raiser and we are making a quilt. Today my gift is to cut out all the pieces for the quilt so that Bev and I can marathon sew and get it done quickly. One less thing for my friend to stress about..
