I recently heard of this challenge and wanted to check it out. Just this morning I decided today would be the day to start. Pondering what I would give away, a friend, who is moving soon, asked for the one thing that I held close. I was down to my last one of this item and even suggested something similar but not that item. Upon walking away from her, I felt compelled to give her the item she requested. Remembering that my gifts need to be inspired and meaningful and something I may not want to part with, I retreated upstairs and collected the item and returned back downstairs and handed it to her with tears in my eyes and a smile on my face. She refused it at first until I explained that I needed to give this to her. That this first gift in this challenge was meant for her. Already, I feel so inspired by what this challenge will do for me.
