I hope everyone on here had a very Merry Christmas. The Christmas season is a wonderful time to give. The gifts can be big or small, material or non-material. Small gifts I gave included little treats I wrapped up and put in my husband's lunchbox to surprise him at work during the weeks before Christmas. One big gift we gave was a new Kitchen Aid Mixer to my husband's grandmother; she was very surprised and is so deserving of it. Non-material gifts I gave included wishing people Merry Christmas, giving them smiles, and visiting, talking, and sharing with friends and family.

I was on the original 29gifts site for a couple of years. I went by the name "genuine" on that site. While many things have remained the same since that site closed down (I am still a giver; I still run a child care program out of my home), many things have changed as well. The big changes include getting married to a wonderful man about a year and a half ago and having our first child, a baby girl 4 months ago.
