Hi my name is Laine. I'm 34 and I have 2 daughters. They are 11 and 9! I am also engaged to be married to the most amazing man, who has 2 children, as well! They are 15 and 14!
Day 7 Gift. My fiance's teenage daughter has been living with her boyfriend and his mom for the last several months now. Well, we just found out over the weekend that she is 16 weeks pregnant, so we invited both her and her boyfriend to come live with us so that we can help them. That was our gift for the day :)

Today was Day 6 of my gift giving challenge. And once again, I woke up with no plan on what i was going to give, and then my France's sister called and asked if we could take her 2 daughters for the night to help her out. That was my gift for the day :)

Today is Day 5 for me, and for my gift today, my fiance and I were discussing some different ideas for dinner when it dawned on me that this was the perfect opportunity to give my gift for today. I told him to choose what we would do and I will do whatever he wants, so we went to Subway :)
It's weird for me to give up control, and even thought it was a trick lol.
Just like all the other days, I woke up not sure what I was going to give. First thing this morning, I found out some distressing family news. So I went home, and I was feeling anxious and cleaning the house and trying to keep busy. I was also wondering what I was going to give and how I would give if I'm at home. Then a friend messaged me and asked me to say a prayer for her husband. He was having a panic attack because they are due to have a baby any day now. I instantly dropped everything I was doing and prayed for him, and I knew that that would be my gift for today :)
Today my gift was something that I have been wanting to give for awhile, but kept putting off. A couple months ago I was having some really bad hip pain (a reoccurring injury since my second child was born), so I went to a chiropractor. After a few sessions with him, I was as good as new. He also went above and beyond, and I never forgot that. So my gift today was a thank you card for him. He was with a client, so I left it with the secretary.
